Historic Evermay Mansion Was a Beautiful Backdrop for the Book Presentation

Against the beautiful background of the historic Evermay mansion, THIS diplomats, members and guests assembled in the garden to share a glass and savor delicious hors-d'oeuvres. We then proceeded under the tent to listen to the "fireside chat" of our two featured speakers, author Leslie Lautenslager and Ambassador Reka Szemerkenyi, who spoke about the intricacies of international relations and the delicate dance of diplomacy. Their anecdotes provided wit and wisdom about their experiences and offered glimpses of the world of diplomatic etiquette and statesmanship.
