New Diplomat Welcome

The New Diplomat Welcome is our premier event when we welcome new diplomats and their spouses to the Washington, DC area and to Cultural Exchange for Diplomats. The event includes three components:

• Coffee and Conversation: We begin by welcoming diplomats, offering coffee and tea, and providing the opportunity to connect with other diplomats and internationally minded Americans.

• Meeting: Our President and New Diplomat Welcome Chair will formally welcome attendees and introduce CED’s Vice President of Programs, Vice President of Cultural Exchanges, and our Director of Diplomatic Relations.  

  Adjournment to Refreshments and our Activity Fair: Our activity room offers opportunities to learn about cultural exchanges and programs.
