Bethesda/DC Cultural Exchange celebrated Mardi Gras

The group enjoyed a Mardi Gras party at Gail Roache’s house in Gaithersburg, Maryland, on February 27. Gail prepared an amazing Jambalaya breakfast casserole, baked garlic cheese grits, decorated pineapples with strawberries, decadent brownie bites, and a King cake.  Her home was beautifully decorated according to the Mardi Gras theme, complete with Dixieland jazz playing as the guests arrived. All participants received Mardi beads and masks to wear and take home.
