THIS for Diplomats Welcomes New Diplomats
Our annual New Diplomat Welcome event was held at Meridian House in October. Eighty diplomats representing 38 countries/embassies, the World Bank, and the European Parliament attended, as well as past THIS for Diplomat presidents and special guests. Our volunteers worked together as a team to create an informative and enjoyable event.
Natalie Jones, Executive Vice President of Meridian International, spoke about the history and architecture of Meridian House and how Meridian partners with THIS for Diplomats.
Our diplomatic guest speaker was Mediha El Fawy from Egypt who delivered a heartfelt speech, highlighting the many THIS activities she has attended and how they have enhanced her stay in Washington D.C.
