CED Participated in Celebrating the Songket Tradition at the Embassy of Malaysia

On October 15, CED members were privileged to be invited to the Embassy of Malaysia for an official program, showcasing Malaysia’s rich artistic heritage and modern fashion. The event focused on exquisite Songket woven textiles, an art form recognized by UNESCO for its historical and cultural significance. The Ambassador of Malaysia to the United States, His Excellency Dato' Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz, and his wife Madame Datin Seri Haflin Nazri Aziz graciously welcomed guests and hosted this informative event featuring stunning and awe-inspiring displays of different forms of attire, paintings and accessories featuring Songket.
