Bethesda/DC and Potomac Cultural Exchange Celebrated a Festive Holiday

The Bethesda/Chevy Chase/DC and Potomac groups were treated to a very special holiday celebration at Maria Pia Di Carlo’s spectacular and beautifully decorated home. There was a record number of 50 attendees, with diplomats from Romania, Sweden, Japan, Korea, Germany, Greece and Turkey. We enjoyed a “white elephant” exchange of gifts as we introduced diplomats to this popular American game. Following the rules of the game, a beautiful large box of Godiva chocolates was the most traded and sought after item of all.
